Hey, thanks for your lovely comment on my blog. I wish you good luck for your new life in Paris. In the next two weeks you will have a lot of work to do, I’m sure (been there, done that), but you’ll enjoy every minute of it, believe me.
I’m looking forward to following your accounts of your experiences!
    ~Sabrina~

  2. Thanks for your comment!

My best friend lives in Paris and I’ll be visiting her in the next year. *fingers crossed* Good luck in Paris and I’ll be peeking back to your blog to read your updates!

  3. I love it when someone says things like “they love to travel” and then actually does it! Good for you!

  4. Hi, nice to meet you !

  5. Hello, thank you for your message. I was bit surprised that someone I don’t know should read my blog, I’m not used to writing one. How did you find mine?
I’ll be in New York until June 2011. Hope you enjoy Paris!
    G.

    • No problem. I enjoyed it. I think I found your blog by searching for recent travel blogs.

I’ll be in Paris for about 2 years or so. I’ve made it to the 3 wk mark. Enjoy NY. It’s an amazing place as well!

Thanks for visiting my blog. Sounds like you’ve done a bit of traveling in your time. Where are you originally from?

That pic of a “French fire extinguisher” is hilarious. I’ve never seen anything like it.

Hope you continue to enjoy your time in Paris. Looking forward to future posts!

  7. I am originally from New Jersey. I lived in FL for a few years as a child and have lived in Germany and breifly in England. I’ve been to numerous places for vacationing.
I love to travel! I am comfortable in NJ but after a while I want to see what else is going on and how other people live their day-to-day lives. It’s always a learning experience to venture out of your comfort zone.

I may put up some posts about some of my past adventures also.
    Thanks for your comment!

Great blog.. don’t forget to write. I LOVE Paris.. I’m currently in Berlin and before that I was in London, Europe is a fun playground…. I can tell you. Enjoy France.

  9. Cool that you are living in Paris… I really enjoyed that city. What are you studying?

    • Currently I am studying Global Communications and Civil Society. It’s a mouthful and the reading and study hours are legnthy.

But, I love Paris and am still getting used to my new life here. With all the hustle and the bustle I sometimes forget that, I moved from NJ to Paris!! That’s amazing to me.

  10. Hey, thanks for taking a moment to read my blog! Yes Paris, is FANTASTIC isn’t it?!?!

I can’t even begin to tell you how jealous I am that you are LIVING here for 2 years! That’s fantastic! If I could expand my 2 month’s in Europe I’d be beyond thrilled!

I hope your time in Paris is great and that the bank stuff gets a bit easier!

    Jenn

  11. Thanks for coming past my Blog…make sure you zip past my place when you happen to come cross Munich during your time in Europe – I’ll make us coffee and can show you some more footage from New Jersey…

  12. I am looking at applying to grad school here – was that whole process very difficult? I am in Verdun, two hours from Paris!

    • Hi. Thanks for your comment! Applying to graduate school was easy actually. It was just like any other school with the application process and fees. I applied online and was able to pay my fees online as well.

You should definitely apply. You don’t have much to lose in the application process. Just find which university would best fit your needs. For example, my university’s classes are all in English. I don’t speak French yet.

But since you’re here I’m assuming you speak the language already.
      Go for it!

  13. Happy Traveling! =)

  14. PAris ooo lala. Ugh I would go crazy with all the bread and cheeeeeeeese!!

  15. Hi there! Thanks for your comment on my blog! I love Paris too and I’m hoping to visit it for a second time this summer as a part of my hopefully extravagant grad trip! I’m subscribing to your blog–keep updating!

  16. Sounds like great fun. What do you do for money to go from place to place? I met a guy who was from the US and he would travel and do odd jobs for a season and then keep going – he’s seen so much of the world on little money, but then again when you’re young and don’t have any other responsibilities, it’s easy to do. Glad I stopped by. What part of India are you planning to go to?

    • I had a full time job for years before enrolling in graduate school. That paid for my trips.

As for India, I’m not sure which part we’re going to. I’m taking a class there for a month. There is an extra fee involved for that of course. But student loans should cover it.

  17. Thanks for reading and commeting on the ACAB blog!

Your list does not include Danmark? If you change your mind and go, let me know if you want any tips:-)

  18. Thanks for visiting my blog! How exciting for you to be able to travel and experience so much. I am doing the “mom thing” right now, so don’t get to get away as much as I would like, but maybe one day my traveling will pick up. Doing the “mom thing” is worth it to me though. The real goal is to get my kids to many of the fabulous places of the world.

    • @kweenmama, Thanks for commenting. Traveling is very exciting and I’m trying to do as much of it as possible before I settle down with regrets.
Congratulations on loving the “mom thing.” Don’t let the travel bug in you die and your children will appreciate and remember fun places you’ve taken them 🙂

  19. Thanks for stopping by my blog and nice to meet you!

Belgium is at the top of my list; Brussels and Bruges. How was it? Recommendations?

    • I loved Belgium. Brussels is a modern city and I felt very welcomed there although all I could say in French was “bonsoir” (goodnight/evening). Of course you have to have a Belgian waffle with some chocolate on it. The chocolate there is amazing!
Bruges is beautiful also. You will have a great time when you go.

  20. I love Paris in the springtime

    • My friends and I just said the other day, “Oh so this is Paris in the spring time. Now I see what all the rave is about!”
It really is quite lovely. I will enjoy as much of it as I can.

  21. Can’t really promise anything, but to me the CouchSurfing concept seems like heaven when it comes to travelling. Dying to try it out 🙂

  22. Very nice! I support fellow travelers : )!

  23. Merci, for your comment on my blog.
I really enjoy your blog upon your life in Paris in the city of romance as people say. I do hope to see more posts as a traveller from Paris

  24. Hey TravellingMad,

Nice blog!! I am a fan of travelling and it’s great you’re doing it.

Come check out New Zealand, it’s an awesome place.

    Cheers

  25. Thanks for your comment on my blog. You seem to be living my dream! Keep travelling! 🙂

  26. Thanks for commenting on my blog!! I’m experiencing technical issues and timing issues, but hopefully soon I’ll have many more updates. Sounds like we both have the travel bug/wanderlust quite bad 🙂

  27. Wow, the places you’ve visited sound like my bucket list, lol! What made you start traveling in earnest? I would love to travel, but do not have the bucks.

What would be an ideal situation? Maybe travel one week each month, write about and get paid to do it. Yeah!

Good luck and thanks for comenting on my blog.

  28. Having been to Belgium myself recently, I really enjoyed Bruges, but thought that Brussels was actually pretty grubby. Additionally, that a national monument, le piscine, is only 30 cm tall and tucked away on a fountain in the corner of a random st, bazaar. I’d be really interested to hear your thoughts on the European capital?

    • @harrithomas, Bruge is a more beautiful and quaint city. I thought Brussels was more of a bustling city for people that work a lot. I was also surprised that the monument was so small (lol).

  29. Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog! It sounds like you are having a great adventure in Paris! I am jealous – I studied one semester in Paris in college and didn’t get enough of it! Would love love love to go back someday. Looking forward to reading more of your blog!

  31. Thanks for sharing all of your travel experiences. You’ve encouraged me to continue aspiring to become a world traveler. I also had to link your “Last Day in India” post to one of my blog posts in my Inspired series because you are an inspiration.
